When I started my business I struggled selling my coaching because I wasn’t clear on who exactly needed my coaching. I read about coaching niches but none of them felt like they really fit my business or me specifically.

 

I wanted a coaching niche that elevated my expertise, my education, and my passion. I didn’t want a vague niche like “life coach” or “career coach” because there were sooo many other people with that same niche.

 

I wanted my coaching niche to differentiate my unique way of helping people.

So I decided to use my unique branding and personality to create a custom coaching niche.
 
I wanted people to see the real me and know exactly how I could help them as soon as they came across my niche.
 
Seth Godin confirmed my belief that carving out a unique and outcome-driven coaching niche would be helpful for potential clients to know exactly what I do so they could decide if they should consider working with me as their coach while achieving their goals.

Now I proudly own my coaching niche in all of my branding, marketing, and sales materials! I can more easily create content that helps women achieve their biggest coaching business dreams without burning out, and my content attracts clients that are excited to work with me to develop their business.

 

In my coaching niche, I not only acknowledge who I can help, but I explain what I can help them do. I also now feel more confident talking about what I do because it is explicitly focused on growing your business without burning out, versus everything that could possibly be related to the much broader “business coaching” term.

 

Since shifting my coaching niche to be more focused on who I can specifically help and how, I also created more detailed and powerful content for my website.
